Cardo's Farm Project (CFP) was established in May 2011 on leased land in Ponder, TX. Owner and operator, Amanda Austin, fulfilled a vision of providing the Denton community with Farm Education and good food. With the help of partners, supporters and volunteers Cardo's Farm Project became a thriving diversified veggie farm and educated so many about the importance of farming in our daily lives.

From 2011-2016 CFP hosted summer farm camps, school field trips, workshops, student interns, service learning projects and community presentations, and sold veggies & flowers to area restaurants, at farmers markets and through a CSA program. In the fall of 2013 CFP relocated from Ponder, TX to a four acre lot near down town Denton..

Today the land is still the home of Amanda and her family. The garden spaces are primarily fallow, but visitors can pick from a seasonal cut-flower garden, strut with the chicken flock, and gallop with the farm dog, Ari.

Amanda continues her work in Agriculture and Farm Education as the Manager of the Coppell Farmers Market.
